Default Seat covers?

Aging is finally caught up with the vinyl on my seats. I noticed the seams are beginning to fall apart and lost the studding on the back of the seat. Although I have considered just reupholstering the seats, I began to think of my old couch. The upholstery had fallen apart from age. So to save a little cash at that time, we bought a couch cover from Walmart. It made it look better than it was. I been thinking if they can make couch covers for couches, is there seat covers that can be pulled over old upholstery for a Harley?

Over top the the existing cover? Don’t think something like that exists. Easy and cheap to do it yourself. Blackbird Customs sells them for $150 and ships to you. You then remove old and install new.

I figured it wasn’t probable but it was a long shot. Heck I almost thought about redoing the seats myself in pure leather but not sure how extensive that would be.

If you can do it, I’d recommend treating yourself to a new saddle. You’ve earned it. : )

”Old Flame” looks to be kept in good shape. Nice scoot.

Less expensive way out is to find a local swap meet. If this is not possible then either use a company like Mean City Cycles. There are others out there, but I am familiar with them as they did a seat mod for me. Other option as others have stated would be to find a new seat(eBay....)

https://www.ebay.com/str/replacement-seat-covers I've seen factory style 'reproduction' Harley seat upholstery on ebay, for about $100. Remove the old, install the new. That's one example, and you can Google more, even youtube videos of install.
