Reflect and Shhh, don't tell anybody, polish angel primer are a couple other ones that excel on soft paint.
Menzerna super finish 4500, or whatever they call it now. Don't use it on vehicles that are getting coated but it dam sure produces.
When my bottle of FG400 is gone Im going to try Sonax Max cut and 3D one. Hard to get away that works as well as it does on every vehicle I have used it on

When you run out give Optimum metal polish a shot. Pinnacle and Wolfgang also have excellent products for metal. Usually I use a compound/polish that I use on the paint if the chrome isn't bad. If its pitted nothing is going to bring it back

Wow! Lots of things to try from reading this thread!!! For the most part I use water to wipe off, Bleche Wite for white wall tires, Turtle wax chrome cleaner when needed, Meguires wax when needed, Purple Slice for a quick shine and I once used Easy Off oven Cleaner to get a melted plastic bag off a pipe. I have had Harley's for 16 years.....oh and Lexol or Armor All for Leather on leather when needed......oh and Pig Spit a bit and "Back to Black" a bit also. My stuff always looks really good IMO.

Seems like some people think paint on a harley is different then on a vehicle. Base/clear is the same on both. Wiping down paint with just water is not good.
Without saying the "How" or what to use, read up on how pros detail cars. The steps they take to clean, perfect, preserve and protect the clear coat.

Thinking about this further........I have never found the need to seek the services of a "pro detailer". It seems to me that the "Pro's" make something look great for a few days and then your on your own. My experience has been that if you keep up something from the start there never is a need for a "Pro". I am my own best "Pro".
