Do you change your oil filter at every oil change?

Do you change your oil filter at every oil change?
Or every other? I change my oil about every 2500 miles. I am trying to figure out if it is necessary to change the filter at every change or every other. On all other bikes I have owned it has always been every other oil change. This is not as a means to save money, just curious to your opinion.

If you had the choice of which to not do, I'd change the filter and leave the oil. The filter is so important. If you look at some of the Amsoil long mileage oil changes you will see that they have 2 filters and they get changed and the oil left. However, to answer your question I'd always change the filter with the oil, just trying to make the point how important the filter is.

yep im with these guys,, filter is more important. when you think about it, its not the breakdown of the oil causing wear, its the particulates IN the oil. the filters job is to catch them. thus cutting down wear.
for the same reason is why im not a big fan of synthetic oils, i change the oil because its dirty not because the oil has broke down..
but with oil, everyone has a different view! lol
