I agree with you Warren, and well said. People come in all shapes/sizes/looks/likes/dislikes. We all share a common bond of loving motorcycles and that is enough for me.

Never the less. If you have a tag, and two wheels I will be happy to consider you a biker. If that suits you.

 

Hate to tell you this, but not a new concept. I'v been saying the same thing for years.

The statment usually starts with, "You're not a real biker because....". And ends with the equivilent of, "...you're not just like me."

The speaker is trying to impress us with his status and prowess as a "Real Biker", while also stating you ar not. But what it really does is accentuate his ignorance and misunderstanding of the whole concept.

I'm a true biker because I'm NOT just like you.

This is my first HD,and I'm loving it. I chosea Dyna, and it handlesso well. The COG is nice and low.

 

I didn't buy my bike for them. I don't need a group to validate my existence. I bought my bike to ride, I dress to be comfortable for me. My wife has the only opinon that matters.

 

I have been very interested in a Roadglide for the last year. Took a test drive last month and loved it. Dealer wouldn't move on 1500 over msrp, so on the advice of this group I'm waitin for the 08's to come out and see what I can do. The wait is almost over....
