Default Hog membership

I got an email today saying my membership was about to expire ( first year was free with my new bike purchase). Does anyone here think it’s worth 50 bucks a year to be a member? I don’t even know what all the benefits are honestly...I remember my dealer saying something about towing if I break down, and that they have a riding club. The email said if sign up for autopay I get a free t shirt. So I’m thinkin no...but if there’s any members out there who’d recommend it, please inform.
Thanks

You were a member last year.
Would you pay $50 for what you got?

Something about towing, but it's better from your insurance (usually). I will be letting mine lapse. I don't see any real benefit.

Some people have discounts through AT&T, but I don't have AT&T...

I keep mindlessly renewing. I realize there are discounts with certain vendors; but I never remember which and always check when it's too late. EagleRider [another one I missed] used to give a 5 or 10% discount on a rental. That alone could make the membership worthwhile. You also get a decent magazine subscription and an atlas. But only you can decide if these things are worth it to you.

I plan on renewing mine when it comes up. It's worth it for the breakdown cover.

Free entrance into the HD Museum. If you do any type of touring, free tow to HD dealer if you breakdown.

I have AAA coverage that far exceeds HOG. 200 miles to where I like. Trip interruption coverage for lodging and meals.
Coverage applies to anyone who is with me.
HOG is for people who like to wear patches.

I appreciate the replies. I didn’t do a whole lot of touring last year, it was my first year back on a bike in a very long time. But I plan on doing a whole lot more this year, with a (possible)trip to Myrtle Beach for bike week and a (definite) trip to NJ around Memorial Day, for starters. So although I didn’t use it last year it might pay for itself if I do as much riding as I plan on this year. Thanks
