Leather jacket zipper repair

Hi all,
I just bought a used Harley leather jacket and I need to have the zipper replaced as well as some minor leather repair. The zipper is actually sewn into a seam of the jacket so it's not like a usual zipper repair. Has anyone had success with a similar repair and can you provide a reference or two?
Thanks,
CJ

I've had great luck with a local shoe repair place, unfortunately you are in Maryland and I'm in California. Try a shoe repair place, they have the sewing machines to do leather.

As Screwball mentioned, I live near Frederick, Md. There is a leather shop in Frederick that I'm going to check with as well as a few shoe shops that I'll check as well. Thanks for the advice Screwball.

I have a Schott leather jacket that IIRC has a "lifetime guarantee" where they will fix problems at no charge. If your jacket has a tag in it, try googling the manufacturer name to see if you can get a deal like that.

Thanks to all for your advice. I found a leather shop today who can replace my zipper for $55. Plus, I went to the local Harley shop and got a replacement snap and he will put that on to replace the one that he needs to take off to sew in the new zipper. All in all, I think it's a fair price. We'll see how it turns out in a week or so.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
