I was at johnstown's thunder in the vally a little while ago and came across a group of bikes that had some type of chrome attachment on the fins of their engine, from far away kinda looked like diamonds and then when you got closer you could see it was chrome I don't know if it was glued on or what but looked pretty neat, anyone seen these or have them on their bike?

 

Sounds like the fins were diamond cut. Got any pics?

 

that's possible, no pics we saw them the first night we were there and it was raining I didn't want to take the camera out in it

 

I can't see how any accessory would stay put on the hottest part of the motor without vibrating off or causing other problems, must have been diamond-cut....fairly common and pretty damn nice looking.
