I bought my '06 with all the chrome farkles on already, and am happy for it. Wouldn't want it any other way.

My Wife would tell you that her 2 favorite colors are black and chrome.
Who am I to argue?

BTW, flat or satin black is a no go for her, it has to have a shine a mile deep.

Before I retired I used to tell the young whippersnappers at work that I had belly button lint older than they were. So yes, I'm an old fart, old school, or maybe just old. In either case, last year when I bought my new bike, I chose the Deluxe over the Heritage because of the chrome. By the time I added the windshield, bags, and cruise I had spent a little more, but I got the look I wanted. There is no right or wrong, just personal preference.

Go for what looks good on you. I like practicability of stainless but no one does that except DeLorean in his day.

Chrome as an accent is good.
But chrome can also look black.
Too much chrome is cheap looking.

Cazador, That is a "rich" looking motorcycle. Very subtle use of chrome. I like it.
