What is wrong with chrome
#192
I've had both - all black and a tasteful chrome *****. I might have polished the chrome twice in 10 years of ownership. Chrome isn't difficult to maintain. Whoever said black is easier to build doesn't know what they're talking about. It takes just as much work, to tear down the bike - probably more work because the MoCo gave you chrome rockers, primary, etc. I did mine before the MoCo decided it was cool. Definitely still love chrome.

Yah . that's a sweet lookin bike . I'm not sure what your using for covering the holes on your bike , but I have these . I didn't like the way my bike looked after I took the boards off for the same reason .

I love chrome...I really do NOT like the new trend of blacked out, and especially don't care for the flat-black look. It irks me that you can't get the bigger motor in some models unless you take the blacked out version. Much of the same is going on in the car world too. I ordered a new 2017 Corvette in mid-2016 and ordered the chrome wheels and emblems. The cars on the lots all had black wheels, blacked out trim...the new 2020 Corvette isn't even offering chrome wheels. I guess its like putting a padded vinyl top on a Porsche
