I prefer chrome but agree blacked out looks good too. What I don't get is the minimalist look with smoked lens on turn signals and brake lights. Better lighting, whether on motorcycles or cars, such as LED visibility saves lives.

I agree that both look good, it just has to be done right. To me, for chrome to look it's best, it has to have the right components done in black to offer the perfect contrast and let that chrome pop. Too many shades of silver/flat gray (aluminum, etc.) don't make chrome look good. Gotta have balance! I would also say that a blacked out bike can need the occasional chrome or aluminum part for good contrast.

I love chrome. I don’t care what other people do, but I don’t understand why blacked out bikes cost more.

I have LED's all around, very bright, but all the housings are black.

Don’t get me wrong I think some of the blacked out motorcycles look really good but I am just old school, I like the traditional look of chrome. I also think the black is a fad that will run its course and the chrome will never get old. Don’t beat me up on that it’s just my opinion. I bought a new Street Glide Standard just for that reason, would have liked the 114 engine but I sacrificed that for the chrome, and saved quite a bit of money also.
So to the point, have been considering having my stock enforcer wheels chromed, haved looked at some aftermarket wheels but seems to me that there is less selection in chrome in that area also, not to mention the prices.
Anyway just wondering am I among the minority that still loves the look of chrome? There is just something about a H-D that has a nice set of shiny chrome wheels that make me smile.
Chrome for me too please

Not a damn thing. On second thought, there is one thing wrong with chrome. It takes too long to polish it so it looks good.

It’s great there is a variety and something for everyone.

For me I prefer Shiny Stuff and sparkles. I enjoy polishing chrome as needed. For me black is too hard to care for.

You can have your cake and eat it too. My Custom Dynamics LED lights have smoked lenses, which have no discernible effect on light output.
