Nothing is wrong with chrome if that's what you want. I just don't like cleaning chrome so I go with a blacked out bike. To each their own.

Lol, the only way you'll ever see wrap on my bikes is if they're leaking! Certainly, to each their own, but I don't like that look at all, but I change sometimes. A buddy just gotta saweeet SG, within days the exhaust was wrapped. He likes it,...........

The backed out look is what has kept me from buying a new CVO, I don't mind the look but that black will be harder to keep clean than chrome, plus it chips pretty easy and will show every chip. So for now I am sticking with my current bike which is covered in chrome... I'm young but must be old school as well..

I'm in the "I like chrome" camp.

Cool More Chrome!!!!!!!!!!

So I took the plunge and doing a wheel exchange with ***** Shiny, they are 3-4 weeks out, but be just in time for ridding weather. Also getting the chrome wheels spacers and lug coves they make. Not sure on the rotors though, of course pad markings will still be there, and my brakes are seated to the rotor as they are. Maybe when I replace brakes would be a better time plus I just spent a grand. Most likely will do forks and cans next winter then I will contemplate rotors again. I know some people just do the front wheel on baggers being you really don't see much of the rear wheel but my OCD would never allow. Will post some pictures after install.

Thanks again for all the posts. Also a big thumbs up on keeping this thread objective and respectful.

There is an awful lot of us chromosexuals out there. I am not a big fan of cleaning either one of them.

I’d have bot a RG special, ‘18 or ‘19 if they had any such thing in chrome. But the only ones that didn’t have chrome replaced with black were the standards, so I got a standard.

Maybe they’ll have a special model with chrome in MY ‘20.

That is the exact reason I got a Standard and not the special (also it saved big $). The 114 would have been nice but the 107 is plenty to get you down the road, anyway with the difference in $ I can build a 114 and still come out spending less. I guess it’s all in what you want, I like the chrome. If anyone wanted to spend 40K I think you can get a CVO about any way you want it. I am fine with what I have and keeping the difference in cash in the bank.
