What is considered a lot of riding?
I purchased my /07 Night train on 6 March 2007, I have put almost 8000 miles on it since then. How many miles have you put on a bike, and what do you consider alot?

Thats a good question...I have about 15,000 miles on my 06 ElectraGlide
and I'm not sure if thats average or not.
When my Butt gets real sore after a mega day of riding, I consider that lots
and enough

I've got 21,500 on my 07 FLHT purchased in August of 06. I think that's excessive, given the cost of maintenance and depreciation, but dammit I love to ride!

Everyone has their ideas and/or opinions as to what constitutes 'a lot of riding'. That said, I think it's safe to say that if you ever find yourself tooling down the highway in one county, all the while your ***** have long since fallen off some 3 counties back.....Well, that there could well be construed as 'a lot of ridin!'

I've got 3800 miles on my 06 RK and that's pretty good for me as I'm on call all the time and work 50-60 hours a week. I guess "a lot" is dependant on your situation at the time. I went 2 weeks without starting my bike but got to ride both Sat and Sun last weekend, so that would be a lot for me right now.
