Yeah, I thought $75K - $125K was a bit optimistic. I wonder if it had a reserve and they dropped it?

It's a weird thing in our culture that celebrity provenance can have such an effect on the value of a vehicle. I think this one suffered because of the post-McQueen restoration, and the fact that as the years go by, fewer and fewer of his die-hard fans are still with us.
