It's a proven fact that if you have apes it moves your hands and arms out of the way of airflow to your A/C and gives you 50 more HP. Chrome apes are slipperier than painted so depending on what you're drinking.HP may vary.

Kawasaki and Honda were able to make it work. It's a long read but HP was increased with directed air pressure; no different than a turbo or super charger, it's just forced induction. However, the increases are modest and limited, but for no real extra hardware it isn't bad. Now will it work on a Harley? Naw, a Harley struggles to get 120 mph, many can't. The air pressure isn't significant enough to help at those speeds.

I heard you can put a vortex fitting under your carburetor and increase your 1978 Chrysler New Yorker to get 70+ mpg.

And of course there's the water engine that was secretly covered up by the oil conglomerates...

I stumbled across this yesterday while googling. Note the description of "ram air"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbox

Many high-performance motorcycles have the airbox fed from funnels in the front of the bike, where increased pressure forces more air into the intake and thus improves power. Examples for this ram-air intake construction are the SRAD models of the Suzuki GSX-R750, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R or the BMW S1000RR.
If you had a pressure sensor in the throttle body, it would show that pressure in the throttle body > atmospheric.

Only thing you're stumbling over is all the fishing lines you have out at the moment

Reading from the start of this thread I questioned whether this was a troll attempt, ......... and when I got to this post there was no doubt.
