Default Need help from another Mac User With Photos

I'm having a devil of a time trying to get photos resized to fit into my avatar (and elswhere). Since I'm on a Mac (iMac G5), it doesn't have the Windows lingo as in the Photoshop instructions herein this forum. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Mac user here:

There's no easy way to resize a picture, PC or Mac, without photo editing software.

Try this website http://www.picresize.com/

I'm a fairly experienced Mac user. What lingo do you need translated? If it's just uploading pix, Safari chokes try Firefox http://en.www.mozilla.com/en/firefox/

How does a self respecting Harely guy own a non customizable MAC instead of a totally customizable PC? No waves for you! Just kidding. To each his own.

wtf do you get your information, Deuces R Wild? Macs at least the Pro (desktop) can be added to any way you feel like it. Just like a PeeCee... as long as their is a driver for it

if ur talking the mini or imac.. who the f' cares... a mini peecee cant really be added to either.. cept by way of usb ports.. or firewire.. same as a mac

If you've got iPhoto you can do it in there. Quite easy. Heck, you probably don't even need to go through iPhoto, you can just CTRL-click the picture and a menu should pop up with a bunch of macros. There should be a macro for resizing the photo no problem.

I use photobucket which has a resize option to just about any size. You can subscribe or set up a free account. Other than photo hosting sites, you can install a free program called "Gimp". There is a learning curve, but it does alot of what photoshop does.
