I believe all the Delphi EFI equipped bikes have it. My '04 Road King does.

The first bikes started using Delphi EFI with Ion sense in 2001. https://www.theautochannel.com/news/...ess021552.html
M8's use a newer knock detection system https://www.cycleworld.com/harley-da...-engine#page-8

Hello

Am not getting the delphi ignition module (ECU) for road king model. The only thing am getting on net is the dual pack single fire delphi ignition coil. But i need the delphi controller for ion sense. Could you just help me out by giving some link to delphi controller where i can directly purchase the one.

I am getting some dynatech ignition kit for HD. I believe this is not the same as delphi

The ION sense is built into the coil secondary.

If you look at the electrical diagram you should see a connection (or two) to the ECM for ION sense.

You can find the electrical diagrams online at https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson....cle/lookupForm

A few weeks back someone posted this link about EFI. Go to slide 35 and it explains ION Sensing.

All I can do is Google it; you can do the same. Good luck with your bike.
