Thanks. I'll definitely check them out.

I know they have made blacked out bikes in the past beyond 10 years. I was just referring to 10 years of having a steady line up of factory blacked out bikes starting with the Night train which actually came out more then 10 years ago. I didnt count the Badboy in the late 90s because it was only out for 3 years. But yes technically blacked out bikes have been produced well longer then 10 years ago and are still popular. Definitely not a fade.

I've been blacking out some of my bikes for the last 30 years, I like black as a contrast to certain colors, and chrome for others. It's not a fad and it's not going away.

Agreed don’t think it’s a fad, I see pics of bikes with blacked out motors back in the 30’s and today 40k + CVO bikes are all blacked out

Agreed...I wish the fad would die and leave us malcontents alone to our own blacked out devices.

Black was to hide the ugly with a dirt cheap paint job I could afford. It's just one step above rust. Chromed out bikes bathe you in sunlight, drives me nuts.

I am boring anyway and my black rides reflect that.

HD should give the customer a choice, pick the model and pick your style. Will that be chrome and shiny color paint or the blacked out version. Might bring more customers to pay those premium prices.

Smile 2017 Fatboy S blacked out totally

Hey, Jerry nice SG, with the fatty ! I m not on f--kbook either ,but I googled reveiws on native custom baggers, it should bring up their f--kbook page. I then click on join group for their recent commentary. No pics on their either this is a first for them for a Fatboy Fatty . waiting to hear back when them to complete the drawings for this kit. No tree work needed like on the pro kit, just shaved upper fork sleeve s tire and rim. talked to them on if they are offering a oem style billet hole fatboy rim to match original, they said they can possibly do so as well, Hope it helps.

2017 Fatboy S Blacked out
