I've ridden both and I'm about your size and, for me, the RG worked better. Like Marks57 said, the SG fairly feels like it is right up in your face and I had difficulty seeing over it.

Having had several of each and touring them extensively over the years, I found that the RG does ride and handle better. In my taste, I like look better. They are far better in crosswinds of 40 or higher. If you do not have frequent high winds get which one you like the style best.
