I know you can't buff/polish the denim black paint because it will become more glossy.....but HOW glossy can it get? My bike looks great right now, but once the denim paint starts to age (like it's supposed to I guess), I was thinking, what if I just highly polish all of it? Has anyone done this on purpose, other than scrubbing too hard to get bug guts off?

If anyone has done it, I'd love to see pictures! Thanks

 

Couple clear coat finishes ought to do it. Otherwise My experience is you got what you got.

 

the paint coat is basically the same as vivid black. the clear coat for the denim has a matte agent in it. so you can polish it, and it will get pretty shiny, just not to the same level as you would with the gloss clear coat.
