Default Bikes on a car lift

This summer, I sold my car and then I had this empty lift. So I did some research & bought a vice to hold the Harley. It works pretty good. I added straps, just to be safe and get better sleep at night. This is pretty cool, but still a bit odd to look at.

I’ve worked on my bike using a car lift. Pretty damn stable with the straps. Never stored bikes on one but I wouldn’t hesitate to do it.

Looks like a dual bike lift to me. Wish I had one.

Aesthetics are fine. Ur the only one that can determine how safe it is. I recall a story a few years ago where a guy was killed when his big twin flopped over onto his pup tent while he was sleeping. Apparently the jiffy sank into the soft ground. Big Twins are heavy!

I like it ............................. but with reservations?

The other issue, same as with the car up in the air, you get a whole new angle to see all of the dirt!

Ive considered using a car hoist I have in my garage as well, the only down-side I see is if you put your foot down after riding up and you miss the platform your bike just stopped on. Over you go and preferably to the outside so you land on something flat, not partially on the other half of the hoist with a bike joining in on the fun. Just food for thought! I personally would make an insert that drops in the middle to fill the center void.

Just a little annoyance having to step over the joining bar to get to the one side of the bike.
