Very nice!
Get some air shocks and you basically have a Road King now.
Yours looks better thanyour everyday RK though.

Hey lp, didn't mean to mislead you , that's the look I'm looking for. Some one else posted the one with bagsonhere somewhere, the other one without is mine. It really looks good though like you said. Hope to look something like that.

ORIGINAL: Bluerose
Hubby just doesn't want me to do it....I can't seem to convince him it would actually be cheaper then upgrading my bike. Even after the hit I would take for selling it.
Sooo....now I have to figure out how I'm gonna get music, add air shocks, an engine upgrade, and a new seat.
Men have such hard heads sometimes.
I have to admit I love the look of my bike but to be practical the touring bike would have been the better deal.
Can anyone tell me how much a 103" kit is installed? The kit from Harley is like 3k. Hubby says if I'm going to upgrade I might as well got to 103" instead of 95".

If you're issue isn't really comfort.....then keep the Deluxe since you said you find it comfortable. Hell you ride a Harley....tunes are for Gold Wing's since you can't hear the engine at all! I had a Wing with tunes and got sick of the tunes after awhile and hardly ever listened to them.
If you're looking for more power.....save your $$$. An '07 isn't got feel much different. I've ridden an '06 Streetglide and an '07 Road Glide no big differences. Spending $3K to get your bike faster is a waste unless you got money to burn and ready to deal with a bike that may have hiccups after the fact. I think the Deluxe is great looking. I'd keep it.

I'd vote for the "new" Dragonfly fairing with the 6x9 speakers, am/fm/cd/mp3 deck, whatever you and he come up with for a communication system, a new seat made for touringand a set of lockable aftemarket bags from ironbags or similar vendoe, ( BTW if he can't hear well, you could always pull up next to him and lift your shirt up! That will get him to pay attention real quick! )
That all will be less than the $ for the motor mods, increase your touring comfortand all will be easy to sell seperatly when the time comes to get a different bike.
