Default Rolling Thunder Pipes

Does anyone have an opinion on the "Rolling Thunder" brand of pipes. They look good and the prices is right, but I have not heard them yet. How do the compare to the HD touring pipes?

I've got Sampson "Rolled Thunder" pipes and think they're great. Not too loud with a nice rumble, and yes, the price is right.

Had the dealer install the Rolling Thunder pipes before I rode it out
of the shop. '04 EG with Stage 1. Have 12,000 miles on them & no
problems. They will get a little louder after awhile, I belive you can
order baffles if you want to quite them down. Chrome still looks
good. I also bought them for the price, so far so good.

How did you make out with www.rollingthunderpipes.com? I have ordered a set, but not heard anything from them. I am hoping that I have not lost my $$$.

Thanks

I've had a set for almost two years with 14,000 miles on them. I just installed V&H True Dual headers which gave me the opportunity to do a close inspection of the mufflers. Still in good shape. The chrome has held up perfectly. No bluing, pitting or peeling.Hard to beat for $199.00 shipped.
They sound even betterwith the true duals.
