Stumbled upon this Springer custom up for sale on Ebay. Included a few pics here and the guy's description of the bike. More pics at the link below. He is asking $60,000.00
"This is a full custom Harley springer built in France in 1998.
When I first saw it I had to have it and I paid an astronomical sum to get it from its original Dutch owner who was not interested in selling it.
It’s literally a work of art and as art goes it is in the eye of the beholder.
Unique piece and Photos do not do justice to it.
The build sheet is too long to list here including motor built for speed, looks and handling.The body was custom made (one off ) by a famous artist
It is a one off and the moulds used for the body were literally destroyed as part of the initial agreement.
The only things I have changed for my tastes are the pipes and the rear fender and I removed the black rubber hair she had.
It runs and drives perfectly,handles unlike any Harley and extremely fast.
It is a very famous bike but has been exposed and shown very little and only in first few months of the build.
I have owned it for 19 years and it hasn’t been shown since.Have all documents,history,build sheet,invoices etc etc.It has only 4650 miles and NO expense has been spared in its maintenance and upkeep
Once in a lifetime opportunity.
I REALLY do not have to sell it and deep down don’t want to but I hardly ride it any more and never show it which is almost a crime so I have decided to put it for sale hoping the next owner will love it as much as me and does all this with new fervor. The bike deserves it.
Im going to list it for a maximum of a month (if necessary) to see if there is someone else out there who appreciates and wants it and if not,I’ll keep it.

ETA: Used to own a headless female mannequin that, dressed with a tiny bikini, occasionally rode shotgun in my Thunderbird convertible. Stopped traffic every time.
