No flex at all here. I think that fat bars can look really coolon a Road King or a Heritage, or any thing else big like that, but on a Dyna it could be alittle too bulky. Just my opinion though, as I know that most guys seem to love the fat bars.

whatever you decide, remember to change your rubber bushings in the risers to polyeurothane. it will take the sloppyness out of the front end. i han grandeur cycles in north carolina make me a set of 16" apes with 90* sharp corners and 1 1/4 tubing. also check out roland sands bars and the gimp bars. those are also a little different.

POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS! You're absolutely right shredhd. In fact, it gets worse than there just being some slop. My old chubbys actually cracked in half between the risers because of the twisting effect that was going on with the flimsy stock bushings every time I turned the bars.

it all depends on what your risers are set up for and if you want to change your risers as well

Anynbody got any sources for the 1" dia. bars that are known to have good bends for hand positioning? Not too many places offering the 1"ers that have them knurled & drilled for wiring that are 16" tall.
Looks like the 1 1/4" bars are pretty prolific.
