I get home from work today around 6:00pm and crash in the den. I wake up feeling tired but decide what I need is a ride.I haven'tridden my bike in two weeks due to travel and rain. I get on my bike and ride aroundin the neighborhood for 5 minutes before it gets dark and all the bugs come out. Boy do I feel better. Just what I needed. Do any of you ever go for just a 5 minute ride? It was probably the longest I've ever gone without riding my bike since I got 2.5 years ago.

 

Man I know how you feel!!Today has been a lazy day rain all day felt like crap as soon as the rain was done I told the ol I was going for a ride. Came home feeling a heck of a lot better. It is Mental Therapy

Nope,,,,back and forth to work,,,6 days a week.....

 

Just got home from 12+ hr day,too tired to think, had to drive car today, took customer to lunch, got home cracked a beer, fired up the BBQ, had another beer, wandered into garage and just fired up the bike, and looked at it. That was enough, I don't like to ride when I'm so beat. BTW anyone who says owning your own business gives you freedom has never owned one. Peace.

 

Yes, you're crazy. Not for taking a 5 minute ride, but for waiting so long. Get out there, man!

 

You're not crazy ... Best chances are that the Harley keeps you from becoming so. I sometimes just go for quick rides when I need to get my head straight, or forget about grief at work and elsewhere. Great therapy.

Anything at all is better than nothing. My bike always cheers me up.
