The ones that are interested are out there. Luncacy is believing that every single one is the same.

Very true, my 32 yr. old nephew has a '17 fatboy. But more the exception than the rule.

Yep, I’m too cool...........when I was young I wore black tees, Levis, and engineer boots as I straddled my 750 SS. Now 40+ years later I am sure that I look just as cool as I try to take my fat, beer bellied, titanium kneed, lightweight tactical boot wearing fat **** off of my Ultra, all the while maintaining that coolness as I try not to limp too badly, all the while trying to reposition my jeans that now contain 10% spandex from sliding down my aforementioned fat ****. Yep, I am now the epitome of cool on my HD.......

I sincerely hope that Harley Davidson doesn't go all in to attract millennial like **** & now Levis just did. Both I used to purchase exclusively and will not buy anymore.

Edit: Why is the sport shoe company starts with an N and ends with an E (n i k e)being *'d out?

I bought the bike solely because I liked how it looked, felt, and rode (and prodding from dad).

With that said, though I suspect I have very little in common with fellow Harley riders, I've never had an issue and everyone has been great. Riding, like sports, tends to bring people together, regardless of our "lifestyles". I do enjoy that aspect as when I'm riding or interacting with other Harley riders, I'm dealing with people I typically don't deal with on a regular basis (which is refreshing). I deal with corporate stiffs on a daily basis and hanging with other Harley riders, whether at a bar or on the road is a nice escape from my Death of a Salesman existence lol.
i'm with ya, here. i'm a seattle corporate techbro schlub by day, and i enjoy hanging out with other riders, but man do i feel outside the herd. they've all been friendly and welcoming, though, and like you say: it's nice to have a different take on your life outside the glow of the lcd and the grey cubicle walls.

Cool uh?

High schoolers riding Harley Sportsters over Rice Rockets.
Would that define the goal of a move toward cool?

Grey haired men on baggers; does that define cool?

Tattoos, beers, pirate uniform; does that define cool?

All FWIW

End of the day, HD is not for the man-bun man-boy crowd - never was... I think she should stick to finding out what makes sissy boys happy.... Cool is in your head, its in your heart - not on your back. If you have to concoct how to be cool, your not.

The epitome of cool isn't walking to the beat of a different drummer, it's beating your own drums and above all, just be yourself!
