Maybe you are still nervous and tense. Try to relax.

Are you experiencing tunnel vision? Like not really good peripheral vision when riding.

You might feel confident when riding. But still tense and hyper focused. Causing straining that you’re not even aware of.

Take Some shorter rides on back roads with little traffic and breathe, relax and chill. Get comfortable, take brakes and streatch and try to look around. But not around too much. Just open your field of vision.

My last bike had "stirrups" beneath the pegs. Wow! Very comfortable. This bike no. HATED! it. Added some stirrups and made HUGE difference with leg cramps. I will never be without them again. Highly recommend giving it a try. Rather inexpensive adjustment to hamstring muscles.

I've logged almost 2500 joy ride miles in the last 2 months I've had it. Here's my question: Why do I wake up the day after a ride and my legs are in so much pain I'm walking around like an 85 year old man? WTH?! Knees are aching, ankles hurting, sometimes up through my hamstring.

This bike fits me perfectly bone stock. I am completely comfortable when riding and when at a stop. I don't feel tense and cannot find the source of this pain while riding or coming to a stop. Is this normal? Does this happen to others? Before getting the bike I was running 20 miles a week. Now I can't even sit on the floor and stretch, let alone run.

I'm a typical stubborn *** man, so I keep getting on the bike everyday because I love it. What do I do?!

HELP,

Duhhh."Before getting the bike I was running 20miles a week". I think that answers it

Him running 20 miles a week, tells us that he's probably in better shape than most Harley owners.

As I stated previously, the reason that it's painful for him to be on that thing, is because the ergonomics are all effed up. Look at all the threads in this place with Harley owners complaining about how bad their butts hurt, or how bad their backs hurt, and so on. I don't have those problems.
Makes sense. Since you're a total *******.

So when a cager does something stupid in traffic, forcing you to take evasive action, you run over your own foot when you bank the bike? That doesn't sound very smart...

Stay away from processed sugar. Water is good, even better when you add some electrolytes, like Daylyte.

Man, the reason why people hurt is because it takes core strength to ride a motorcycle. If you don't have strong core muscles, leg muscles, and pretty much upper body strength and conditioning, you are going to have muscle aches. It isn't like sitting in a car like a sack of potaters....

Why would you say something like that?

I'd recommend trying something with better ergonomics...and better geometry...and better suspension...and 17" wheels...and better tires...and better brakes...and a better transmission...and a better horsepower-to-weight ratio.
