Default Leather Billbord

Any where in east central S.D. carry a decent line/selection of leather that's not branded.
I just want good fitting & quality with out wearing a billboard on my back.
I seam to keep looking in all the wrong places.

I'm not sure where they are located but it seams like most folks on here swears by Fox creek leather. That is about as much help as I can offer from down here in Texas.

New store on 212 in Watertown just as you come off I 29. Pretty good stuff in there. Most Jap bike shops have blank jackets.

Thanks, Are you referring to Glacial Lakes H.D. or else where?

6 gun already mentioned Fox Creek Leather and they are top notch in all aspects. Quality, fit, fashion and customer service. They are located in Independence Virginia and I have their stuff. Jacket, chaps, couple pairs of gloves, wallets and have bought branded boots from them.

Not the HD shop. That is a further west on 212. Can't miss it. New big building on the north side of the road. I can't recall the name. They just expanded.

Although I don’t have a fox creek jacket I do have a pair of their gloves. Best gloves I’ve ever owned. It’s nice to be able to buy stuff made in America.

Fox Creek is very popular on here. I own a pair of their Deluxe Lined Deerskin Gauntlets. Very nice. I have a Hillside Leather/Cordura jacket and it's very well made, and reasonable. If you do a search you'll find a lot of companies you can order from. If you want to try some on , it's worth a trip to do it. A good jacket should last you decades.

Harley-Davidson motor clothes departments actually carry H-D leather jackets, but without the external H-D name/logo/advertisements. I have one that I bought when offered a 20% discount - along with the MSF Basic Rider's Class that my wife and I attended. The motor clothes management mentioned something about "limited" availability or "special" edition, but there wasn't any marking to indicate such. While the jacket has the H-D interior labels, with logo and "made in Pakistan" disclaimers, there isn't any indication it's an H-D jacket from the outside.

I might not have been tempted to buy without the discount, but it is a nice jacket. You might find one also - check the dealerships when you ride nearby.

Hope this helps,
John
