Well......as an owner of a 2018 Fat Bob (and previously a 2014 Fat Bob), I can categorically state that the 2018 is a flat out excellent motorcycle. The looks are divisive for sure, but I love it - but then I don't really like chrome barges.
Here's my 2018 Fat Bob in Germany this weekend. I'm just back from 1400 miles of twisties and a huge amount of fun! We had 14 bikes (all HD) for our trip, and my Fat Bob was by far and away the fastest and best handling bike in the group.
If you haven't ridden one, give it a go. You'll be grinning from ear to ear.

Maybe you should get out more.... perhaps visit YouTube and actually watch that people ride them, buy them and love them... seems in your reality, everyone means just you because most people on the Thread have been pretty positive.
I've ridden all the new softballs, other than the 114 being pretty peppy I say meh. Really wanted to like them but don't think I'll be parting with my 14 RK anytime soon.
And like someone else said, whats up with those stupid down sized gas tanks, realize these new bikes get better mileage but a 150 mi range isn't much when you're cruising thru BFE Wyoming etc.

ok then jizz, im not sure how you got that from what i posted but ok. I specifically said the street bob and lowrider look great amd the fatbob looks like **** but i guess your going to construe that as meaning i hate everything since i dont like one even though there are 2 that i like. That works out to be a majority that i like. I even like the other softails. I specifically hate the fat bob. Its a hot mess. And being as one person in europe is the only person who can say they own one then they certainly must be a hot seller. So am i watching top gear usa or the original?

They've sold a lot. Check out some of the 2018 Fat Bob threads on the Softail forum. There's also a very active Facebook community for the bike too. Quite a few folks have come across to HD from the sport bike community because of the Fat Bob.
Oh - and the bike just won MCN (Motorcycle News) "Best Cruiser" in their Motorcycles of the Year awards.
I personally know 5 people who have bought them. So there's that as well....
My wife and I looked at some bikes yesterday as she is ready for a new one. We both really liked the Street Bob as it was clean and simple. The other soft tails just looked busy to me. I did not care for any of the other bobs or boys but this is my personal taste and not dissing anyone’s bike or choices.
Now they need to make it in denim denim black and she will take it.
Looks are subjective. Take adventure bikes ugly as hell but they sell, adventure bikes are in my opinion Harley's biggest competition not that fugly feather bike. I love old school cruisers and choppers, but as soon as I saw the first pictures last year of the fat bob I knew I had to check it out. Yes some of it needs some time to get use to like the head light. Best riding bike I ever had for me. People like different rides that's why there are different bikes makes the world go around. Now someone will tell us the world is flat. The 2 dealers by me seem to sell decent amount of them.
