Ride when you want to ride...
But for me, I ride to work whenever I can and on some days I shouldn’t. I take chances with the forecast on many occasions... 40% chance of rain means 60% chance it won’t.
The other day, we were having a team pitch-in lunch... so I told the wife I needed something to take, but it had to be “saddlebag friendly”.
But that’s me, you do you...
Ride on and be safe

I ride all the time and commute to work on the bike. I don't usually ride to work if it's raining when I get up but if it's 60% or less I'll give it a go.

I ride to work as often as I can. If it is raining, the bike stays home. No need to wear wet clothes all day. Different story if rain is called just for the ride home. Besides, I am making payments on a 2018 Silverado. Want to drive that too.

I ride to work up hill both ways - rain, sleet, snow, typhoon, drought, blizzard - it don’t make a crap. I dress like a pirate and talk like a sailor.

Really if if there’s a chance of rain I drive my truck.

We have 2 vehicles and my Harley in the garage. And I have my pickup in the driveway.
Some days I ride the bike, and other days I drive my truck.
Just depends on what my plans are for the day, or what mood I am in.
Same here. The one thing that NEVER factors in...what others think.

The guys who ride every day are more real riders than the guys who don't. An Iron Butt rider is more of a real rider than anyone who isn't. The person who seizes the most opportunities to be in the saddle is the real rider.

This is where being self employed is one disadvantage. I have to take the truck to work everyday because that's my office and my toolroom.
I have to admit I'm a bit jealous of those that can ride to work because if it was feasible I certainly would.

I ride to work everyday that I can. It's nice to shake it all off on the ride home - sometimes I meet friends and we'll go have some dinner after work.

I drive my truck for a living. I normally run from Houston area to North Dakota or Eastern Montana and back every week. I may be out for anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks at a time, and then home for 3 or 4 days. After covering 3 or 4 thousand miles every week I'm not in a big hurry for another long trip when I'm finally out of the truck for a few days so my bike doesn't get ridden a lot. I ride strictly for my own pleasure, and Don't give a damn what anyone else thinks about it.

Last time I drove my truck to work was back in early March, I think.
