I enjoy riding so I commute to work as often as possible, weather permitting. Riding puts a smile on my face before dealing with the office.

I ride to work every day unless the weather is horrible. It doesn’t mean a damn to me who does or doesn’t. If you don’t feel like it then don’t.

My 60 mile roundtrip to work and back home is about the only riding I get at the moment, so I take advantage of it often.

I ride to work everyday because LA traffic sucks and the weathers great.

64 miles round trip from LA to OC.

Spend between 1-1.5 hours in a car sitting in traffic or 30-40mins splitting lanes? You chose.

I don't even own a car no more.

Screw what everyone else thinks. Do you.

Unless I'm going to need the truck for something at work I ride every day, weather permitting. And I'm not real picky about the weather.

I have to either take the kid to daycare, or pick him up, which requires my truck and carseat. I have to go out of my way to ride the bike to work. I still do it 2-3 times a week, but if it's raining I'm not going back home to get the bike. If I didn't have to do that, I might suit up and go even then. BUT I don't get to ride as much recreationally as I used to pre-kid, so I get it in where I can, even if it's just to and from work.

I ride every day I can. I'm good down to about 20 degrees it it isn't snowing. I felt the only way I could justify buying an expensive bike was to ride as much as possible. I have a 56 mile each way commute, and I'm certain I would not find 2 hours every day to ride otherwise. There are a lot of bikes in out lot when the weather is nice, but there are a whole lot more days when mine is the only bike out there.

I agree - ride when you feel like it. Riding for me is supposed to be fun. Not a chore or a task or a "have to do". It is a way for me to take time for myself and unwind. A relaxing time.

That being said, I ride to work almost every day.

10 minute ride to work just so it can sit outside in the sun/rain and collect dust for 12 hours..... Very rarely do I ride to work unless I plan on going somewhere after. It’s just too much to be dealing with @ 4AM. I’m kinda on autopilot wake up get dressed throw food in a cooler and take off. When I ride my bike I gotta wake up early pull the bike out strap cooler down put on gear etc.

The smells are wonderful and traffic is minimum. There was a period of time where I did not own a car for about 5 years so I rode every day, rain or shine. Some of that can get old after a while. Anyone who gives flack to a rider for not riding is a dipshit in my opinion.
I love riding to work, it makes the commute so much more enjoyable...I just wish it was a ride like yours instead of the I-5....
