Default easiest to install air horn

I know there are posts from 08 on this subject but wanted to ask the question again in case there's any newer information. I would like to replace the wimpy stock horns on my 98 Sportster and 02 Ultra, doesn't have to have the loudest decibels but looking for the easiest to install, probably on the existing mounting location of the stock horn. Liked the sound of the Nautilus when I heard it online, but the install looked like a lot of work. Anybody have any suggestions?

Before you spend money go by a dealer and try the stock horn on the 17 and later bikes, it'll wake the dead and it's a no fuss bolt on.

The horn on my new 2018 is much louder than the **** poor horn on my 2011 was. That said neither holds a candle to the Mini Beast air horn I put on the 2011..

I'm gonna forward that link to my wife (anonymously). She needs more junk in her trunk.

I went to the local dealer and apparently none of the bikes in the showroom have batteries in them. The dealer said the stock 17 horn is an upgraded horn Harley sells for 49.95. Will keep it in mind, thanks.

When I checked the horn out at the dealer, the only thing the box said on the new horn was that it was 5db louder than the '13 and below models. 5db doesn't sound like a lot on paper, but with the way decibels work it might be a lot better. Still of course doesn't compare to 118-139 db of the air horns, but it would be an easy install. Plus it's hard to find anything at the Harley dealer anymore for 50 bucks or less.

5 dB is 3.2 times as loud, if you can believe what the dealer says, but judging from my '17 RK, the horn doesn't sound any louder to me than on any of my previous Harleys. I DID have a Rivco on my FXDF a few years back, and it was an easy install even though I had to mount a compressor for it, and it was a real ear-splitter. Check it out!

Just checked on Ronnie's and the '17 horn is the replacement horn for my '13 RGU. I didn't check all models but that looks like that's the standard now.
