Vis á vis the louder stock horn...look to the P&A catalog for that...significantly louder than the stock horn on pre-2014 models.

But the prize for loud and easy installation must go to the Wolo Bad Boy horn. Truly a bolt on double air horn. Plugs into the OEM wiring, *no relay necessary. If you don't like it's hideous appearance, *Kuryakyn sells a cover specifically for that horn.

On my current sled, I chose the P&A horn since I like the iconic OE cover.*

Check out www.horntrigger.com

I'm bata testing this version of the horn trigger, the new version of what was originally called the Life Saver Horn control device. This new version works great for finding the horn button with out the need to move your hand.

Easy install. Will be available in shiny chrome looking plastic or matt black. Cheap.

See Has anybody ever found their horn in an emergency? post 227

Just installed a Wolo Air Horn on my Cherry, See What did you do to Your Softail Today? post 7235 and 7236.

It is loud...I'm happy

The Stebel Nautilus, Mini Beast, and WoLo horns are all basically the same. Find the cheapest one and go for it. Be sure to use dielectric grease on the connectors including the line that connects to the battery or they will surely corrode. And yes, it is loud!

This is the one I have which is no longer available. I also had the same one on two previous bikes. The Pro Pad Mini Beast II Air Horn - Chrome MB-AH4-C
Amazon Amazon
This is what it looks like:

That's too much fat azz. The top and the waist are ok but then she looks like somebody threw the wrong bottom end on her. It doesn't fit right. Then again I'm not into that kardashian, misshapen ghetto butt that looks like it needs a WIDE LOAD sign and an amber strobe light on it.

If you do a google image search for "The Purple Helmets" motorcycle team, you might be able to get some ideas for how to mount an air horn on a motorcycle.

I have a wolo bad boy.
The do require a relay.
I mounted my relay on the back of the horn bracket.
Bad idea.
The bike will shake the relay apart.
I will move it the next time I have the tank off.
The compressor and horn start separating after a bit of time.
A nylon tie strap will fix that.
It is loud.
If you get pissed and lay on it for a while the fuse will blow so use a circuit breaker.
I have been known to do that.
Great horn for the price.
About $40 for the black one at harbor freight.

They make some good ****.

I've got the "all in one" horn but they also do a split system (compressor and horn separated, like conventional air horns)

What i like about the in-one is that it doesn't really look like a horn - the the Aussie cops in Queensland don't really notice it when they go "inspecting" (looking for anything to ping you on).
Not that I got to Qld much... but it's a nice look.
