I actually have 2 of them. I bought the first one last year, just the basic poly/plastic one. It's actually really comfortable, but I certainly wouldn't call it comparable to any kind of full face helmet as far as "safe" goes. I recently bought the carbon fibre one in the exact same size and model. Once again, very comfortable but it seems to feel a little sturdier than the plastic one. This is the one I would recommend if this is the style of helmet you're looking for. Again, if you want something "safe as possible" this is NOT for you. But... To each their own. It's your head and your risk decision. But, we all take a bit of a risk every time we go out on the road.
CHEERS.

Well, it's called Crazy Al's, not Safety Al's. That's a sign.
Any customer reviews? That's another sign.

Ironically "Not Safety Al's" would probably be a better name for this hat! LOL! But, It is the most COMFORTABLE helmet I've ever had.

I bought a Crazy Als helmet last fall. It’s the only half helmet I have ever owned that didn’t try to lift off my head at 60 mph and above. After a couple of rides it got more comfortable than any I’ve owned.
