Default Motor Identification
I bought a softail with an aftermarket motor. Not sure what it is.... the engine numbers aren’t HD. They are X5850000*** . Any ideas?

Mate the bike is homemade, the frame has a weird number as well. It starts with 4EMEL**********. I suspect its a Paughco. Even if it was in an identifiable bike, the engine number wouldnt mean anything, so pics won’t help.

Its an S&S motor...... someone in the know will know by the numbers what motor it is.....

If you call S&S with the stamped numbers in your pic you will know what motor it is
