Like all festering pimple OEM taillight and license plate mounts, the one on this bike has to be ugly to pass federal DOT regulations. The low mirrors also wont pass DOT inspection.
I am sure the aftermarket will be the first to serve up a simpler light and plate bracket if this prototype comes on line.
And while I like the idea of this bike, it is not mean to please an old geezer like me. This bike is millennial bait.
Whether the intended market takes the bait remains to be seen.

I'm in with just a few tweaks:
*Steeper steering angle
*Tires that are made for handling, not "Bike Night"
*True mid-controls with ***** of the rider's feet under their hips
* Real suspension with some travel by everyone's standards, not HD standards
*Both ends adjustable for preload, compression and rebound
*Triple disk brakes, radial mounted calipers with differential bores and true floating rotors
*Wet weight of less than 500 pounds
*Minimum 125 rear wheel horsepower (not measured at the crank)
*LED lighting
*Finally, and this one is mandatory; 10 years of production to let the customers sort out what HD engineers ignored as potential problems
Square those few items and HD has made a sale
