Lots of good roads in the area. Hwy 360 out of Vanore is a very good curvy road that leads you to Tellico. You can go over the Cherohala Skyway from Tellico which is a great ride, then head to Tapaco, and come back to TN on US-129 the Dragon. Makes for a nice loop, all good twisty roads.

You can also take 68 East out of Tellico over the mountain, a good ride into GA. Then pick up 64 and ride along the Ocoee River which is very nice, and it runs into 411, which 411 north will take you back to Vanore. Mecca Pike (Hwy39) out of Tellico south is another good twisty road. Take it to Reliance Road (hwy 315) south. That will run you down to Hwy 30. Go left on 30 for some more good curves and you will run into 64 again.

You can also go a little north on 411 out of Vanore, and hop on Hwy 72. Follow 72 East to US129. Take a right and that will run you to the Dragon, but before you get to the Dragon, take a left on Foothills Parkway, which is a great road. Take it across to Hwy 321, take a left on it and it will run you into Maryville. Hop on 411 south back to Vanore.

A bit of a ride but closer than it is to where I live, or pretty close. Spectacular riding in this area. Wife and I were just there yesterday. Now I have to try to find somewhere nearly as fun today.

Haven't gotten into west TN (past Nashville) yet but Eastern TN is beautiful.
We have never had a non-enjoyable ride over there.
I always avoid the large cities and just ride what US highways I need to get where I'm going.
If you can, take 25E toward Middlesboro up through the tunnel into KY.
It is worthwhile and good riding in the area. Try to visit the TVA Dams. Some of them are
wonders in themselves.

If you go into any Harley or other motorcycle dealership, or most souvenir shops, you can get a free map. You can ride up to Deals Gap at the top of the Dragon (US 129) and they have free maps of the area.

Lots of riding in that area.

Smokey Mountain Harley Davidson in Maryivlle is a good dealer if you need one. Number one in the country last year. Good service department. They have have a BBQ restaurant on site, Stinkers which is pretty good. It also has a full service bar, with 10 or so different drafts on tap. Thrusday evening is bike night there. During the riding season they have a concert every Saturday night and some Friday nights. Its about 20 or so miles from Vanore.
