Can someone tell me why I need to replace the fuel door hinge when replacing the key button with a push button. I replaced with the button and was to hard headed to replace the hinge and it seems to work fine. Am I missing something? Haven't rode it yet but it seems to operate like it should.

 

not missing anything. I didnt replace the hinge either. works just fine

 

Including the unneeded hinge justifies premium pricing for HD parts.
