Default Headed to Milwaukee

I will be coming to town for the 115th and have a couple of questions.

Are there any stand out HD dealers that are a must see? My wife loves to shop.

We are each planning a day ride while we are there. We plan to cover up to 100-200 miles per day, can any of you locals suggest state route or any other good roads that we should plan on seeing?
We plan on hitting the HD stuff in the evenings so we can do some riding during the day.

Hal's, House of Harley, Milwaukee H-D, and Suburban will all have vendors, bands, food etc,
All are worth a stop if you have the time.
Holy Hill and the Kettle Moraine are great rides.

hwy 67 from Hwy 20 to Oconomowoc (Wisconsin HD) makes a nice ride. Scenic and a few twisties to be had. From Milwaukee a nice loop would be south on I-94 to Hwy 20 in Racine County, west on 20 for a ways then north on hwy 67, right up to Wisconsin HD, Then hop on I-94 east back to Milwaukee.

Ride up from Milwaukee to Green Bay. Take in Lambeau but more importantly, run west of GB about 20 miles to Doc's HD in Bonduel. Car museum, full zoo and the nicest staff anywhere. Great food in his restaurant too. Be sure to check out his shop, he allows anyone to walk around the service areas. Doc always has some real neat old iron on the bench.

+1 on the trip to Doc's and riding to/near Holy Hill especially St. Augustine Rd. from Hwy Q (County Line Rd.) north.

Hal's was sold and is now Iron Town HD

Holy Hill and the Kettle Moraine are great rides.

Hal's is now called "Iron Town Harley", just FYI.

Hey Dale - it's now called Iron town!

Geez.........

I was just going to start a 115 thread. You can PM me and I can give you good routes but the Hwy 67, Kettle Moraine, and the Holy Hill recommendations are good ones.

I appreciate the tips. I may try to set up a nice ride to hit a couple HD stores in a day. This gives me a good starting point. Some twisty's for us and some shopping for the woman should keep everyone happy. I haven't been to Milwaukee since the 100 year party So I am looking forward to checking out the area's back roads.

We have some decent riding but nothing like the roads east and south of you.
