Yeah, Ridley was the one. I didn't ask the price. Probably not in the $3500 range.

Those Ridley START around the $12k range if I remember correctly.
I've never seen anything but HD or Buell at my local dealers.
Those bikes vegashd posted are made by Hyosung.
However they read "Aquila" on the tank.

Thename is"Vento" chinese, the largest I think goes up to 250cc, very cheap looking. Those could fool me... maybe 10 years ago when I drank a bottle of scotch and with two miles of fog in between...

I've seen dealerships sell other brands. The dealership in Virginia, MN comes to mind (off the top of my head). They carry a few other manufactures...also they sell quads and boats (ifI'm not mistaken).HD is only one of them.

I think the bike you are describing has an engine that appears to be a cheap clone of a Yamaha Virago 250 v-twin. Anyway, I say the more the merrier. Welcome them to the party. Let's see if they can dance.
Kymco has had a serious impact on the scooter market--better qualityand lower cost. That's a good thing as I see it. Scooters were ridiculously over priced. But, the cycle market is a lot more competitive.

The Vento V Thunder is what I was talking about.. I agree with GTK -- I think they keep them there as a contrast to make the HD's look all that much better.

She dealers around here have a lot of the custom choppers for sale. There are some awesome paint jobs on some of those bikes.

Was it full sized?? Ya know in easy rider they have adds for $3,000 bikes that look like a full sized Harley but they are like Minny bikes, top speed 50 miles hr. They really weren't ment to replace a Harley they are just for around town errands and junk like that. They are cute and if your a R U B ya might wanna buy one for your kid to ride on the side walk or in the neighbor hood
