Default Why We Ride

Just a beautiful Summer weekend doing day rides. Saturday I headed down PCH and then through the canyons to Cook's Corner, a local Biker's hangout. Hadn't been there all year, and it was my Road King's debut there. It was a wonderful ride, combining PCH, local highways and roads, with lots of ocean and canyon scenery. Nothing epic or anything, but rides like this are why I got the bike.

The King at rest...

Looks like the place to be... better than any "mainstream" pub.

Cook's corner can go F themselves!!!! As much as I like that place.

A few years ago the Southern Calif Mot Assoc (SCMA) was coordinating a large function there and they basically told SCMA to go F themselves. I can get the details bcs my friend is the Prez there and he told me abt it.

You don't try to take advantage of bikers especially when they are in bog support of your establishment.

SCMA has/had abt 900 mbrs back then and that is a lot of bikers to **** off.

Wow, very impressive. I envy you that ride. Any problems securing your bike at night at motels and so forth?
