Log a Load for Kids - Charity - Win A Harley
Amanda, I am the area chairman for a group of loggers and foresters who raise money for their local children's hospitals through an organization known as Log a Load for Kids. We have been working with the University of Virginia Children's Hospital in Charlottesville for approximately 15 years and currently have a raffle going on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Fatboy which was autographed personally by The Rolling Stones for us and the UVACH just before their show here in Charlottesville on Thursday October 6. We are selling raffle tickets for $5/ ticket or 5 tickets for $20 with all the proceeds going to the kids at UVACH. The drawing will be held on Friday Dec. 2 and televised live on NBC Channel 29 from Shenandoah Harley-Davidson/Buell in Staunton, VA. Please help us give the kids at UVA "a bigger bang" as the Stones tour is billed and show them how we care with the biggest check for them on Dec.2.
I'm attaching links to the UVACH website where tickets can be purchased over the phone and other info and pictures, including a list of supporters who have tickets available at their locations. Thank you for your help!

RE: Log a Load for Kids - Charity - Win A Harley
Hey, thanks for all your help!!!! We have raised for the UVA Childeren's Hospital, over $50K net, from this great and famous Fatboy. The winner was a woman in Sharptown, Md, Sue Baer, who had just ordered a Harley that would not arrive til Feb. 06. Talk about one happy couple and a great Christmas present. The ticket was sold to her by our State Log a Load Chairman, Nikki Robertson, just the day before. Sue works for a large sawmill, J.V. Wells Inc. on the eastern shore of Maryland. Thank you all again for all your help and support!!!!!! Rich
