Default Fork oil leak?

Today I decide to go for a short ride and just riding along and just happened to look down and noticed oil oozing out the very top of the tripple tree on the left fork side around the bolt. I had a chrome frontend installed this past winter by the dealer. Could that bolt just need to be tightened to spec? Or something better left alone by me? As I have told you guys before I'm no tech but certainly not afraid to turn a wrench on something simple. My whole thing is I have no idea what that bolt tightens and how bad I can make something worse by messing with it

At this point you don't know what the fluid level is in your fork so at least you would want to service them. As the dealer just did the service I would take it back and ask them to make it right.

Just asked a guy that has a very good YouTube channel and he believes it is probably grease separation and that's what's oozing out from around the bolt and not oil at all. I'll get it checked just the same!
Thanks!

i doubt that enough oil has 'oozed' out to make a significant difference in the level between the two fork tubes. having had the work done over 6 months ago, the dealer is probably not going to be very forthcoming. you can tighten the top fork bolt down yourself. keep an eye on it, and if it still leaks even after you've tightened it, then i would attempt some sort of warranty claim against the work that they performed.

Ill check that bolt on top of the tripple tree. And keep an eye on it. My dealer is pretty good about things like this if they do the work and it's not right. Especially with the very limited miles I have ridden since the work was done. Thanks for your input!
