RE: Did you convert to Harley?
>>AND I"M GETTNG OVER THE F&^% ME IN THE A$$ PRICE I PAID!!!!! Life is good. Oh, and the whole Harley brotherhood thing too.<<<
Hah! I have owned six bikes before my harley, didn't pay over 1200 bucks for any one of them and it cost me 30 bucks for the dealer to change the oil.
But they didn't have ANY soul man...Harley's have soul.

RE: Did you convert to Harley?
Started w/350 Honda at age 16, road up and down a long driveway hundreds of times before I was deemed worthy to take it out on the street, shortly thereafter bought BSA 650, very fond memories of that one, great handling but stranded me several times(Lucas electrics grrr) Metrics quite a while. Now Harleys.

RE: Did you convert to Harley?
Owned Hondas for 40 years, in 1997 bought a new Shadow 1100. I told everyone that I had a bike that was faster, smoother, quieter, and more reliable, at half the price, and 90% of the people couldn't tell the difference anyway. Now, the price doesn't matter, and I love the Harley!

RE: Did you convert to Harley?
Had a Yamaha in the early 80's when I was poor in the Army making 500 and change a month, transferred and sold bike, always wanted a Harley. Bought a few ATV's for the kids then a KLR to follow and supervise them on.Wife always bugged me to get the Harley, after getting the KLR I got the bug again, stopped by the HD dealer and wife urged me to get the bike I wanted. I thought my gun habit was expensive, now it looks like a frugal hobbie, well worth it though, PS yeah I am a RUB tougfh $it.
