HD Cooling vest: I just recently tried mine.... makes all the difference in the world I think........makes riding in 100+ degrees tolerable vs absolutely miserable. You can find water to soak a vest easily. So you stop and soak it at a rest area and your good for another 100 miles. These vests I think make it possible to get through a very hot day or not doing it at all.

I've got a cooling vest called the Veskimo. It's a vest with tubes snaked thru it that connects to a water reservoir with ice in it and a 12v pumo to circulate the icy water. Wow! That is a real cooling vest and works very well, even in humid weather. Reservoir is just a small ice chest that sits on the seat behind me. Was a lot more expensive than an evaporative vest and I think the company is out of business now
