Harley Iron 883 scratches on Handlebars

Hi I have a black denim 883 iron that has a few scratches on the black handlebars where the windscreen was fitted.
any ideas to get these out?buff polish, touch up?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I don't have any idea how big your scratches are but when I would get a small chip on my black tank, I used a permanent marking pen on the chip to hide it and it worked.. It was a cheap and simple trick and it did the job. Not sure if this will work for you but it did for me.
