One question......... Loud Pipes is that going to be a problem ? ..... I'm in ,with possibly 8 to 10 other bikes. but me and the wife for sure.

Wow 8 to 10 more bikes! That would be a heck of a boost!

I think Loud Pipes only become a problem when bikers with straight pipes can't control themselves. My pipes aren't exactly quiet but I do restrain myself most of the time. It's common sense right? I put my stock pipes back on for a couple of weeks but found that I was driving more agressively soloand when wifey was 2 up with me, she said she didn't feel safe (we were cut off twice). I used the mini-beast air horn a few times on the freeway while the stock pipes were on.

I do have baffles but the cagers can hear me coming. I like my simi-Loud Pipes and hope I don't losethat freedom later down the road...

Another thought on this subject. The only thing I would ask is that those with very loud pipes try to be respectful to others. We had a couple of riders that had some really loud pipes go to Hollister with us. A few people really could not stand riding behind them so they stayed toward the back of thier section of the pack to avoid issues. (One guy had insertable baffles with him?)

Since we are doing a ride in the National Park I would like to ask all of youtry to be repectful of the environment. Yosemite has tried to do a lot to abate motor noise and emissions created by the hundreds of thousands of cars and motorhomesplus thier generators for years...lets not ruin it for other bikers, other park visitors,or ourselves by being disrespectful. (This is just a statement and not intended to saythat anyone particularly would be).

I emailed the Hotel and it seems not many have made reservations yet. I have had 1 complaint that they are not answering the phone.

Is anyone else having problems?

When I made my reservations, I was told that I could cancel up to 72 hourprior tocheck-in. They just wanted a credit card to hold the room. I figure, no harm in gettin' the room now. I don't want to end up down the street and payin' more. Seems like we got a pretty good rate and I like the fact that they have underground parking. My bike has never had to sleep outside

I'm working on the Packet right now.

Trying to figureout the MapQuest software so I can post routes for those that have GPS. Haven't had the GPS long and for some reason no one has waypoints for the gas, stores, etc in Yosemite. (If anyone has some of this I'll take it!)

Spoke to Yosemite today...almost thought we needed a permit but not yet...we'd need a few more bikes (Like 40 total)[&:]
