I'm in for one. I would like to go on the YNP ride.
Holiday Inn
Quality Inn
or Mammoth Mountain Inn(not sure why it wouldn't work on the YNP ride)
Wherever everyone is staying is OK.
Will probably hang for Sunday activities.
No family needing to be entertained.
Thanks for all your work on this.

Hi Bluerose,
this sounds cool. My wife and I are back in the States for at least a few years. We just got in a couple of weeks ago and are looking for jobs and a place to live but are interested in the run.
Will have to get back with you on it depending on if we are starting new jobs/moving etc, but it seems like that it is pretty optimistice that we would find jobs that soon considering we are about to take a 20 day tour!

Looks like I'm in butthe wife won't go. I went to my sister's house yesterday and my brother n law was very interested and if he's willing to do it on his Sporty, I'm encouraged to takethe trip on the Low Rider. They live in Victorville so I will prolly be leaving from their house. My sister won't go either, can't blame her, on the back of a Sporty?Wherever everyone is staying is okay with me. I'm not picky and would prefer to stay with the group. I can't hang for the Sunday activities as I have to return to work Monday. But I think Mammoth and YNP will be a great time.
Is there anyway we could join the group as you folks are coming through Victorville? Isn't that where we break off from the I-15 to the 395?
How many people have signed on for the ride so far?

Well according to the poll we now have about 7 bikes but I think that is short a bit. You should encourage your wife and sister-in-law to follow in the car...it really is a nice area
I'll post ride maps and met points as we get closer so if you want to set a point I'll add it to the map.. I'll be doing the 14 to the 395 at the latest we should be able to make a pretty good meet for lunch going north in Lone Pine. Hear they have a great Pizza joint.

I went for a ride to Mammoth this past weekend from San Diego, was about 410 miles each way, nice ride HOT as Hell though, hit 115 degrees going through Mojave Desert...... weather in Mammoth was 72 degrees during the day and about 50 degrees at night, I was at an event at the Village lots of restaurants, some are fair.... I was at a BBQ Competition with all of the local restaurants competing... average room is about 95.00 a day, always bands on the weekend at the village free entertainment.... lots to see and do , a very senic drive on 395 and or from the west from the 99 to the 41 to the 120 through Yosemitee like the ride from both ways, if I can get away from work, I too would like to join in.....
