Ron,
I am not sure what time I can get off work just yet. What time were you planning on heading out? I was hoping to leave Concord area around 11-12pm. I assume you will head across the 12 over to 5? I'd love to meet up somewhere along the way if we can work out the scheduling.
Who else from the bay area wants to take part in the pig pack?

Ok, I'm committed with or without the wife. She still has to get approval for the weekend off but I'm good to go. Now to twist a few more San Diego area arms and see if there are some more out there up for the trip.

I think there are at least 2 more bikes coming.....WldBill from Washinton and another frm the Bay area. Still waiting to hear back from a few others.
Hubby and I haven't decided exactly where we will be leaving from. Either Simi Valley around 7:30 am (118/5/14/395) or If we are going to go stay with family in tehachaphi (we left there at 9 am last time and got to Mammoth around 4....and we took our time.

Gamma742, we'll probably go up the 15, less headaches to deal with as far as traffic is concerned. I live in the La Mesa area off the 8.

I'll be leaving from my brother house in Victorville. I was thinking we might want to meet somewhere maybe near Victorville H-D and ride up the 395 together.
Anyone else coming up the 15 to 395?

Simi Valley to Lone Pine is 204 miles....
Victorville to Lone Pine is 160miles....
Lone Pine to Mammoth Lakes is 99.9 Miles....
Last time We really took our time, stopping anywhere our hearts desired and spentat leasta1/2hour to 45 minutes in Bishop. We left lone pine at around 1:30 and still got to Mammoth around 4 pm.
If I leave my house at 8 am with no traffic (not likely on a Friday) I'll be in Lone Pine around noon....give or take.
Sooooo......between 12 pm and 1 pm? Rolling out no later then about 1:30 which gives us time for Pizza and Sodas? (Also gives time for people riding farther or running late to arrive)
I'll be passing out my cell phone number too. There is a Gas station justa bit up the way the 395/14 merge...we could meet there too.
