I try to do Biktoberfest every year~ It's just a few hours ride for me~ Daytona in October is much nicer then Daytona in March~ The weather is usually a little better...

I am starting to plan now.
Where would be a good place to stay.
Also some sites to see.

Oh, I'll be there. Considering I only live 20 minutes from Daytona Beach.

I'm not sure where the best places to stay would be... I just ride up for the day and then ride home myself~ The sites to see are all a matter of preference~ There's plenty to find right there in Daytona... such as thescenic rides and/or the party spots like the Iron Horse Saloon~Then just alittle putt from there is St. Augustine, where the settlers first landed in Florida~ The old Fort (Matanzas) still stands there and is free to roam~ Also have a Ripley's there that is quiteinteresting to tour~ Great resturaunts, but tourist trap prices~

I think for me it is 750 miles but that is almost a days ride and I plan on being there.

I'll be there s it is an hour away. If you wanna stay close, try New Smyna beach which is a little nicer and just over the bridge.

I love the events Orlando Harley throws as well and there are live bands and lots more room than Daytona. It's only 45 mins up I-4 from Daytona.

Thank you BlueDragon
I'm looking into rides and siteseeing.
St. Augustine, The old Fort (Matanzas)And Ripley's sounds like a good start.
I will research these some more.
Probly will look into lodging outside of Daytona.
If I could find something maybe up to 1-2 hours away would be good for me.
I ride daily, so travel is no problem.
My pickup says 1 mile to work, the WG has not been under 50 miles one way to work.
Again thank you for a starting point in my travel plans.

Me, my wife, my brother and his girlfriend are all riding down there. We have a little place on the beach rented. We are really looking forward to it, even though I am not really into the big rallies anymore. It should be fun.
